Time for another adventure! We picked up this little wooden Citroën 2CV recently from a local craft market- it's hand-made from wood and is absolutely adorable. What better way to segue into a post about our next travels? Zooooom! Or rather, poopootpootpootpoot- I think that's a more accurate Citroën noise!
I won't be posting much until I'm back (to melt your eyes with vacation shots, ha) so I will wish everyone the happiest of holidays right now! Thanks to each and every person who reads along, leaves lovely comments, and spends a little time with us, here at Süsk & Banoo. You're all good looking, immensely talented, and smell nice.
I'm super excited about this trip- I'm going to Seattle first to see two friends I haven't seen in at least 8 years (in a city I've never visited- yeh!), then zipping down to Denver to see another old friend, then a little hour's drive south to spend Christmas and New Years with Mum, Dad, and Little Brother! Ban will be flying in to meet me there- he has some crazy maths seminar at the very tip-top of Finland first, so will pop over when he's done dodging polar bears and frostbite. If he sees the Aurora Borealis while he's up there, I'm going to be so jealous!
Ban is supermegaultra excited because it will only be his second time in America, ever. He went to Berkeley a few years ago for work and really loved it . He still raves about a burger he ate there to this day, and how polite and warm everyone was. After a particularly odd party we were recently invited to, in which we were pretty bluntly told that Americans/British are shit, and that Banoo looked like a terrorist [insert other assorted Al Qaeda jokes here], we are both looking forward to the warmth and friendliness of Americans, and more importantly being surrounded by family who care for us. Sometimes it's a bit hard living up here, all alone.
So while we travel this winter, warmest season's greetings from us both to you!
